Oops!

Ahh!! I forgot to put a picture in that last post!! Well, here it is. :)

Sanity and Other Things

I probably should have done this a while ago, but I have been insanely busy as of late. Finals are over, as is the final event. It was so great to see everyone one last time. After dancing and ice cream, the outbounds that could went over to Morgan's to spend the night.

There were goats and chickens at the final event, go figure.
It's amazing what you can find when you aren't looking for anything in particular.

“Mad Hatter: “Why is a raven like a writing-desk?”
“Have you guessed the riddle yet?” the Hatter said, turning to Alice again.
“No, I give it up,” Alice replied: “What’s the answer?”
“I haven’t the slightest idea,” said the Hatter”

“The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four people is suffering from a mental illness. Look at your 3 best friends. If they're ok, then it's you.”
― Rita Mae Brown

“We have now left Reason and Sanity Junction. Next stop, Looneyville.”
― Jim Butcher, Grave Peril

Setting up the ghetto tent in the dark was... entertaining. Afterwards we made s'mores around the campfire. I don't have to use quotation marks this time, it was an actual FIRE!! Torvald and Robby sang another song, which has failed to make Facebook yet. Hopefully it will be up soon *cough cough* Amanda *cough cough*. The sun woke us up at 6:30 am so we decided to pack up the tent early and get breakfast. Three hours of sleep was fine until I had to study for finals, and be awake to celebrate Father's Day.

Sometimes I think that we're all absolutely insane. In a way, we are. But we're all insane together, and that's the important part. It's scary, knowing that we'll be gone for a year, but that's the adventure of it all. Meeting new people, going new places...

“People can do great things. However, there are some things they just CAN'T do. I, for instance, have not been able to transform myself into a Popsicle, despite years of effort.”
